Job Title: Processing Operator – 2nd Shift
Department: Processing

Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-conscious Processing Operator to join our 2nd Shift team. In this role, you will be responsible for producing high-quality liquid product batches while ensuring equipment is sanitized and maintained in compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Batch Processing: Process and document all production batches with strict adherence to batch records, SOPs, and GMP standards. Conduct in-process testing as required.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate raw material inventory, including location tracking and lot control, both physically and within computer systems.
  • Material Handling: Unload bulk materials as needed and ensure proper storage and handling.
  • Sanitation and Maintenance: Clean and sanitize equipment and workspaces according to SOPs and GMPs. Operate and maintain purified water, material handling, and processing systems safely and efficiently.
  • Team Support: Provide technical guidance and training to team members as necessary.
  • Operational Excellence: Perform additional tasks to support processing operations, documentation, and compliance requirements.

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent walking and ladder use.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and handle/position materials weighing up to 450 pounds.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (chemistry coursework preferred).
  • Minimum of two years of related experience in processing or a similar role.

Accountability:
This position reports to the Processing Supervisor.
